The images of the author
Paolo Da Pozzo was born in Tolmezzo, where he lives.
After a degree in Business Economics, he started a company activity in the Carnic chief town.
Since he was young he approached photography focusing on natural images, landscapes and animals lives in their habitat, especially regarding the Friulian mountains.

As a member of the Friulan group of A.F.N.I. (Italian nature photographers’ association) he took part in several exhibitions, and lots of his pictures have been published by specialized magazines such as Qui Touring, Ciclismo, Mondo del Gusto, Asferico and Oasis. In 2007 one of his works received good reviews at the first edition of the Asferico International Nature Photography competition. He took part also in the making of of several photo books such as Luci e Silenzi nel Parco delle Prealpi Giulie, Belpaese Natura(2006), Sinfonia di Colori (2008).
Some of the Friulian tourist offices chose his works for their decorations and lots of his pictures have been exhibited during trade fair events, such as Tra Un Mese è Natale 2008, Olio Capitale 2009 (Trieste) and International festival of Malvasia wine 2009 (Capodistria).
